How can LAEP help me as a student?
The Department of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning provides a unique opportunity to interact with other students and the faculty/staff. Class sizes are purposely limited giving each student an opportunity for individualized instruction in a studio setting. All courses are taught by professors or by qualified professionals active in the field of landscape architecture. Students in LAEP form close relationships with their classmates and faculty which last a lifetime
The on-campus, student-run ASLA chapter is enthusiastically involved in planning and organizing events and activities throughout the school year. Any student may become involved in the organization or participate in the activities by attending meetings, events and/or becoming a class representative.
